The missing motion module
FreeCAD gives machine builders a capable free parametric modeler, but choreographing realistic machine motion — velocity profiles, interlocks, shareable animations — is outside its scope. DynMech Motion fills exactly that gap: export your FreeCAD assembly as STEP (File → Export), drop it into Motion, and the assembly hierarchy and colors arrive intact.
A three-step workflow
1) Model parts and assemblies in FreeCAD as usual. 2) Export STEP and import into DynMech Motion; pick pivot axes directly from cylindrical faces. 3) Choreograph motion with logic blocks and share via the free Player, QR code, or glTF for the web.
